Dry Part Quotation Specialist (m/f/d)* New Machine

Your tasks

Purpose of the Position

Act as the central technical expert in SA Corporate Quotation Management for Dry Part equipment, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication across all areas of the quotation process. Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to enhance system interfaces and media data, thereby securing technical advantages and maintaining order backlogs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide support and advice to Sales and other departments on technical questions related to dry part equipment (Packer, palletiser,.) and systems with high variability or complex customer requirements. This includes partial support during customer meetings. SA CQM serves as an advisory role in the quotation process.
• Ensure technical and timely clarification and preparation of quotations for complex machines and systems. Define and optimize configurations (e.g., parameters, dimensions) according to Product Lines specifications. Independently create relevant documents for the end customer (e.g., media data, benchmarks, guarantee data, performance data) and handle specifications autonomously).
• Gather cost information and check feasibility for non-standard machines/systems or quotation changes. Compile costs to determine prices and assess technical feasibility.
• Serve as the main contact for responsible machines during the quotation phase and for incorporating the delta report before order clarification. Actively clarify questions from all parties involved, including internal teams and customers.
• Provide technical support and attend customer meetings at the plant or on-site.
• Document experiences and share them with colleagues. Transfer knowledge to new colleagues and support the onboarding process. Assist with strategic topics like mentoring, focus teams, workshops, and work packages.
• Actively initiating problem-solving or anomalies through PL 3rd Level Support for continuous improvement of the quotation process in collaboration with adjacent areas.
• Building and developing regional technical know-how, developing guidelines for regional and global key accounts, etc.

Your profile

• Extensive knowledge of Dry Parts equipment (Packer, Palletiser.) and secondary packaging
• Completed vocational training (at least 3 years) + further technical training to technician + additional specific qualification.
• Completed studies (4-year standard period) or Bachelor or Master
• Completed Bachelor studies + professional experience in dual engineering Training
• Completed Bachelor studies + additional specific qualification + at least 3 years of specific professional experience
• Equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in other ways
